The base of the card is a medium pink and the Spellbinder Classic scalloped square die was used as a frame for the verse which I printed onto white card stock. It was then layered onto black and then at the top and bottom in order to make it fit better I added a light pink border.
The row of roses at the top, bottom and inside the card are from the Gina K. Designs Holiday Baskets set. I also used Gina K. Designs white embossing powder and Versamark ink and heat set them. And, along the edge I ran some pearl stickers.
I am not sure that I will be adding any verse inside the card but instead might just write a personal message so I left that blank.
And, it was a tough job taking a photo. I think I took 10 different ones and in my deleting I accidentally deleted the two I was going to use, so I had to restore them. I am so glad there is that option. I hope you can see the acetate fairly well. Most of the time there was too much glare but these two were not too bad.

Well, storms are moving in so I guess I might have to shut down the computer soon and unplug. We lost one computer to lightning and we don't take any chances anymore. I hope you are having a great Saturday.
God bless,

Verna this is beautiful! I didn't know that you were so very very talented. Do you take classes or get together with other ladies? I'm curious to learn more techniques. Do you sell your cards or are they just for personal use?
What a truly beautiful card Verna. Love the layout and so glad you persevered with the acetate. A wonderful result.
This is one of those take-my-breath-away designs. It's a very WOW card, Verna! I love your white embossing onto the acetate and card (I can see inside). Beautiful verse, too. I hope you all will be safe with your storms and you don't lose any more electronic devices ♥
STUNNING! Love the embossing on the acetate--not an easy task for sure! And you are correct, that font is spectacular!
An amazing acetate creation, Verna! Sometimes embossing powders can be so frustrating when they don't follow the rules LOL - I think sometimes atmospheric conditions cause problems as well, but it certainly is difficult, especially, on non-porous surfaces. The verse is lovely, and I agree that it suffices for a sentiment - beautifully peaceful. Wonderful design, right down to the "pearls" of wisdom! love, de
This is such a lovely card, and I think you have used that acetate perfectly. I agree, acetate is a bit fiddly, but you have certainly shown it whose boss. Love your beautiful colors, and of course that beautiful greeting....it is a wonderful rendition of that Bible verse.
Gorgeous card Verna! Acetate is hard to photo and hard to work with but I love the results!
Love the stamping on the acetate. Fabulous use of the rose stamp.
Wow, Verna, this looks amazing! I have yet to try an acetate card front! Love your scripture word art and gorgeous die cuts! Enjoy your day!
Verna, what a gorgeous card! Love the acetate, even though it's a challenge to use different techniques with. The roses look beautiful, and you know how much I love that verse! Brings back wonderful memories of my church choir where I used to live.
Same here have yet to try the acetate even though been here a very long time. :) This made a beautiful card.
Oh Verna! what a beautiful card!!! I'm so happy you persevered! The addition of the pearls is simply lovely!!
