I recently did a blog hop at Repeat Impressions and saw these amazingly done card creations by the designers and one that particularly stood out to me were the images of the beer mug, foam and awesome "beer" sayings that went with them. Since I have a few gentlemen and a few lady friends who all like beer I thought these would be nice and handy for fun looking cards. I decided I would use those images to make a special birthday card for a gentleman who will soon be turning 60 and who loves a beer now and then.
The background made with the confetti and streamers stamp and the circles with the numbers inserted are all stamp images from Gina K. Designs. I did random stamping to fill the whole page with those confetti and streamers with Gina K. Designs Black ink. I also stamped all the other images with the black ink. My ribbon is from Gina K. Designs and by using a layer of black behind the panel I think I have a fun and cool looking card. :) I colored the beer mug with my Bic Mark-It alcohol ink markers as they were handy at the time.
Well, I know I had fun creating this card so my day is a good one. I hope your day is going great too! Thanks for stopping by.
God bless,
Verna

What a fun card!!!
Great card with RI beer stamps! I subscribe to your blog of course, and I forwarded my emailed copy of this card to Wendy who owns Repeat Impressions.
Now isn't that the cutest card! You did a terrific job designing the background paper too. Anyone who has a beer now and then would love this card!

Awesome card Verna!!! I love your background.
What a cool "beer" card. I don't do much drinking, but love that first sip of cold beer from a frosty mug. I'm sure your 60 y/o friend will like this card. ~ Val / Greywolf
This is just too much fun. Love how you used what you had and colored with a Bic marker. It is perfect for beer. I think I need to CASE this one.
Great card Verna! I too know a couple of people who this card would be perfect for! Me thinks I'll be CASEing this one too. Thanks for the inspiration.
Super card, Verna!!! I just made a card for our son with a beer mug on it, so this really caught my eye. Will have to check out that image, mine was a digi. Love your background, and just the black and white except for the mug. Really cute card, and great idea to do the number of the birthday with that stamp set too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Know a few that could use that card. Love it.
Neat card. Makes me thirsty. Could stand a glass of wine about now. LOL. - Jim
ha! Great Card, Verna! Wonderful sentiment, too. Your friend will certainly enjoy the card! I especially like that you have personalized it with the age, and your pretty coloring, too! hugs, de
Awesome card!! Love it!!
Awesome cup of cheer :)
What a fabulous card for beer lovers, Verna! You did a fantastic job with everything, from that handmade background paper to the frothy head on the beer! I'm itching to take a big slurp, it looks so cold and inviting!! Hugs, Darnell
Fab card, Verna. And it comes with a generous measure of good cheer! Well done!
hugs, Asha
Love that mug, such a wonderful masculine birthday card. You could also change it to green for St. Paddy's Day! ;)
