My base card is kraft card stock. I then cut out a border with the red and the white card stock and combined the colors together to create some clean and simple cards with an inlay of the hearts in the opposite colors.
The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs Stately Flowers 6 set by Melanie Muenchinger. I think I have used this on almost all of my cards this year as I just love the pretty font design. I used embossing powders to make the sentiments pop more too!
My card was then finished by adding some red and white twine and tying a bow on the top of the card. I think twine is a good way to add fiber to a masculine card.
Well, since we were not attending a party tonight or having one it was a "given" I would have to do some Super Bowl Card Making with my own type of party. And, I enjoyed every bit of it too.
I hope you are having a good Sunday evening no matter what you are doing as well! Time now for some Super Bowl munchies.
God bless,
Verna

Your heart's are beautiful on the Kraft cardstock! Perfect masculine cards! My husband likes to watch football, I'm not into football either. Have a Blessed evening!
Loving these 2 Verna. Simply STUNNING. Fabulous layouts. Love the kraft with the red and white - perfect.
Very nice, Verna! I thought I would do some card making while the game was on too, but alas... I took a short nap, made supper, cleaned up after supper and messed around on the computer! I do have to get one card done, though, a custom one that I sold on my Etsy Shop today. Needs to go out tomorrow to the customer. Thanks for sharing! I always love seeing your work, even if I don't always take the time to comment!
Love that die- great cards! I also made some cards today- and I watched the game too.
Absolutely fantastic cards Verna! WOW...I love them!
Beautiful cards Verna! Love the hearts.
You are too funny! Having your own Super Bowl card making party. I watched the game, but I should have been making a card. My supplies were put away, but they come out today. I love these cards and I an inspired to create.
Verna, I just love the "results" of your own Super Bowl Party! They are winners!
Awesome cards - I just love red and kraft together - fabulous masculine combo!
This is a super one for the men. Love the die cut and the craft instead of a darker brown,
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this border die. And love that you inlayed some of the hearts, just gorgeous! Wonderful masculine Valentine cards - well done. Oh, and I love the kraft too.
A truly beautiful card, Verna. The red on kraft is a simple yet striking combo. Fabulous!
hugs, Asha
Hi, Verna! Happy wishes from FL to you - GREAT use of Kraft CS and the die cuts on the diagonal look fabulous! What a wonderful design idea, which I hope to remember (LOL) when I craft using borders. hugs, de
These are adorable. I recently did your technique of stamping with 2 different papers and then filling in the hearts with the other color on my card on Craft-Dee BowZ. It's such a pretty look! I love the kraft background on these...it makes the red and white just pop off the page! Hugs, Gail
I love the red and white on the kraft background! Beautiful cards!!
