With two of my daughters getting married this year as well as other relatives and friends, it seems weddings have been on my mind a lot. So I have been in great need for cards for those occasions. I always admired the look of white on white but never tried it before so when the Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 193 - White on White was given for this week I decided if I had time I would try to make a wedding card for that challenge.
My card is fairly simple in design. I used only one Cheery Lynn Designs Die which is called Japanese Lace and Flourish Frame DL137. I die cut them from the white card stock and then glued them onto a plain A2 size white card base.
Then I punched out some little flowers from an EK Success punch, laid them on a piece of fun foam and using a stylus shaped them by just pressing down in the middle so the flowers pop out on the outside but retain a dip in the center. I glued these on the leafy flourish and in the center added a clear rhinestone.
My card was finished by adding a ribbon bow to the bottom of the flourish stems and stamping the sentiment in black ink. The sentiment is from the Magenta line.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful weekend. I know I am looking forward to mine.
God bless,
Verna
This blog is about my card making, but now and then I might add a few other things as well. Please read the Privacy Policy at the top of my blog. I would be honored though if you would like to CASE, Like or Pin them and give me the credit.
