I stamped the butterfly fairy image with Versafine Onxy Black ink. My MISTI was used so that I could get a good deep black printing. I then colored in the wings and the background with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. The image was fussy cut and then placed onto a Gina K. Designs Cranberry Tart card stock layer. That was also the color I used for the card base on which I placed the Gina K. Designs Ivory Bisters background. Once all the main layers were together I decided I wanted a corner design to go with it so I die cut some Cranberry Tart corner pieces from Cheery Lynn Designs. These were added by using a Zig 2-way glue pen.
I finished the design by adding a sheet of Ivory card stock inside so that I could either write or stamp a message.
I felt so good to get a little stamping in again. I hope you are doing great and I thank you for stopping in and leaving your wonderful comments. Looks like we are going to get more rain as it is cloudy and quite dreary looking.
God bless,
Verna

Magical and lovely! xx
Beautiful! I have never used the Blisters but they make a perfect background for the fairy.
Boy, you sure know how to use those blisters. This is amazing. I still need to get some.
This is beautiful, Verna. I love what you hAve done with those Bisters, but what I really like is how you have colored the fairy wings. That's just GENIUS!
This beautiful and wonderful background!
Lovely card - great bg for your fairy
Verna, I love your blister mottled background; in fact, I really enjoy any of the techniques that end up with intermingled colors. They usually provide a starting point like yours do. You took the exact same background colors to color the fairy, especially her wings. It's like she just flew out of the background and all the yellow you colored around her gave her the definition as the main image. Your four corners made the card look like a real framed picture and I have always liked the colors you used.
