I wanted to share a couple more foiled Christmas cards I made with the Tim Holtz stencils, Deco Transfer Gel, laminator, Deco Foils and Fancy Foils from Gina K. Designs. The sentiments on both cards are from Gina K. Designs as well as all of the card stock I used. My ink was Black Onyx from Versafine.
I think these are so beautiful and actually after all the foiling is done it is an easy way to finish them off into fantastic cards. I used the negatives for both cards. For the holly one I chose Christmas Pine and Jelly Bean Green card stock. For the poinsettia one I chose to implement Ivory and Red Velvet as that was the color of the Fancy Foil I used. I so love the stencils from the Tim Holtz Collection 19 and I think that was an awesome purchase for me as I know I got my money's worth from them already.
I took two different photos in hopes that you could see the foiled shimmer on one and the design on the other.
Well, I will be putting away my crafting things for awhile. Over the weekend we expect company so we will need the whole kitchen table for all of us to fit around it for meals. One of the drawbacks on not having a crafting room. But I am lucky we have a big kitchen table so that I can work on one end and we can eat on the other when it is just the two of us. I hope you are having a great week and that you will enjoy the holiday weekend as well.
My thoughts and prayers are also with all of those in the Houston area and I hope that soon the rain will stop and that the sun will shine. I know we are enjoying a lot of sun these days and it is wonderful! Take care everyone. See you next time.
God bless,
Verna
