I spent yesterday afternoon using Deco Transfer Gel and stencils and making a lot of patterns which I dried overnight and then this afternoon added the foil to them. For this particular card I used a stencil from the Tim Holtz Collection 19 and added Deco Amber Watercolor foil to the design by heat setting it with my laminator.
The card stock colors I went with were Gina K. Designs Kraft and Ivory. I simply added this design to the ivory base but before I did that I added two different types of ribbons along the side. Both are from unknown sources but I sure am tickled with the way they looked. I had issues trying to keep the ribbon in place so I added a brown pearl to each and that way they were anchored a bit better.
I am adding this card as an entry for the Double D's Blog Challenge in which we are to use texture and neutral colors. The colors I picked are neutral and also this is a design that would work for any winter holiday as I did not add a sentiment.
Well, the past few days I have been without a hubby in the house. He went fishing for several days so I decided to try and get a bit ahead on the Christmas designs. I have a lot of things all foiled now and ready to work with. So it was a fun activity for me.
I hope all of you are having a great weekend. And thanks so much for visiting and for your lovely comments.
God bless,
Verna

Tim Holtz would be so proud of you using those colors. I think that they give it a lot of a 1st class look for the holidays, too. It truly is gorgeous and the amber foil looks so beautiful against the ivory card stock. The ribbon and snowflakes really make it a true holiday card.
