I decided to make a card showing that winter is the time for hot cocoa too. I chose to use The Penguin and Marshmallow stamp set from Stampingbella for my design. I colored it with my Copics and then sponged on a wintery looking sky with Gina K. Designs Navy ink. I used a fussy cut paper in a curvy edge to use as a mask when I sponged on the sky. The next step was to add some flicks of snow from a paint brush with white acrylic paint by lightly tapping on the handle of the brush. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and then mounted this simple scene to a green panel before adding it to the white card base.
This card will be entered in the 2020 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers challenge which is ongoing this week. If you want to join in you have until Friday.
