The Mix It Up Monday Challenge at Stamp TV was to make a cash card. The details can be seen at the challenge. I had never made one of these before so it was a learning experience but I did enjoy it.
I used Gina K. Designs Vine & Butterfly set which is illustrated by Theresa Momber. I had some pattern paper in my private stash that I used with it. I also added some black rhinestones to accent the design.
I also carried the design over to the inside of the card. And, with that slot for the cash or a check it is ready to give for someone's birthday. I know everyone who has a birthday in my family loves the color green. LOL
Well, surprisingly this was a very easy card to do and I did it in just an hour. I think I might have to do this more often for family birthday cards since after they reach their teen years and beyond cash is what they get from us.
Well, have a great weekend.
God bless,
Verna

These are great to,have on hand. Nice job, as this could be for both male or female. Who would not want cash for a gift. Right?
Good idea to have a few of these ready for gifts. Actually they would make great graduation gifts too. Thanks for the idea Verna. Love the butterfly theme!
I LOVE the patterned papers you used for this, so perfect to showcase the beautiful butterflies. This is an awesome Cash Card, great take on the challenge. And I'm with you, I'm going to be making these when I give cash from now on.

Cue, and of course love the butterfly. Yes, the same here for birthdays, cash, so a good idea for a change of card.

What a little beauty Verna. Love It!
Beautiful design, Verna. The basket weave really adds a lot of texture to your card and your flower is gorgeous. Great simple way to finish the inside. I watch DWTS also. I usually have a favorite but I don't this year. I did not want anyone to go home last night.
