I used the CAS-UAL FRIDAYS stamp set called Casual Elegance. I used Post-It notes to block off areas and then sponged on various colors and then stamped the leafy designs from the stamp set. I also added a bit of the foliage inside the card too. After I had all of the areas colored I then added a die cut ribbon of black card stock which is from the Cheery Lynn Designs Allison's Ribbons die set. This panel was then added to a black panel and then mounted onto the white card base.
This is again a card that could work for any gender but I have an idea I might use it for a gentleman's card and perhaps as a Father's Day one.
Well, it is early evening and I have not made any evening meal yet so I better clear the deck and get with the program. You have a great night too!
God bless,
Verna

Hey I forgot I know how to do that technique.. fun. I'll have to go play thanks. Your card was great love all the angles.. colors are great too :)
You did pull it off. Love the card you made. The colors and the sentiment spotlighted in the center. You have also inspired me to give this a try. I think I saw Gina do it once too.
Awesome card, Verna. You have nailed that technique, very intriguing. Love your color choices and stamps. Well done!!! I like that touch of black ribbon too, just the perfect final touch!!
LOVE your colors, why didn't I think of using more colors??? This is a beautiful creation and a perfect representation of the Retiform Technique. You have so much going on here (in a good way, a very good way) so much interest and yet no extra postage required, gotta love that! Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Mod Squad Challenge Donna, Challenge Host.
Same here, love the colour selection. Great Card.
Lovely card! I like the different colours and leaves.
