I used small ink pads from Gina K. Designs to add the colors to the solid image cups and doves. I very carefully tried to ink up only the cup with blue and then the coffee and steam with the brown. I did the same with the birds inking their bodies with blue and their beaks with black. The pattern paper I used is from My Favorite Things. I die cut the design with a Gina Marie Designs stitched circle die and placed that over the gingham and darker blue paper panel. Then all was added to a white card base.

It is beyond me how you colored the birds and cups with a small inkpad; I would have strayed ink all over that card trying to do it. You are right when you say that the focal point could be used for more than a coffee challenge. It sure makes a wonderful a wonderful wedding card; love the saying. And you know my favorite color is blue.
