Okay, as far as I know now this will be my last entry this time around into the 2017 Spring Coffee Lover's Blog challenge. I have enjoyed making all of these cards and this one was fun to do as well but I was a bit disappointed as it seemed the computer ink for this digi wanted to smear a bit. But we shall just pretend it is some extra special look to create the look of chick fuzz. It is a cute image from Limited Runs and it was a free digital as well. The sentiment below was part of the digital image.
I tried to color it with Tombow markers and they smeared even worse with the ink so then I did another one with the Bic Mark-It pens which seemed somewhat better. When it was all colored I die cut it with a Cottage Cutz double stitched rectangle set. I also cut a bit larger panel in black card stock. And, this time to shake it up a bit I went wonky with the layering. All was then placed onto a card base of Gina K. Designs Apple Mint card stock. The finishing touch was to add some darker pink rhinestones.
I am entering this into the Word Art Wednesday Challenge too which is Anything Goes.
Well, I hope your weekend is going well. It has been a rather cloudy and dreary one here but still I am happy that it is finally Spring. Take care everyone and thanks for visiting my blog to leave so many wonderful comments.
God bless,
Verna

Verna, I love the stamp; he is soooooooooooo cute and the saying is so appropriate. You picked a great color for the front of the card; it looks exactly like the same color as you colored the glass or cup.
You have really been rocking the Hop with your ten outstanding cards, Verna!!! It's kept you busy! As for this little darling chickie, I'll bet she got caught in a spring rain shower and then walked through a puddle! It happens to all of us at one time or another!! Hugs, Darnell

it's wonderful!
Adorable! What a sweet little image. Love the off-set angle and the colors are awesome!
This is just lovely. I understand about digi and smudges, I found that with digi and light colours that I try to avoid going over the lines and just colouring up to them, sometimes letting the ink just bleed up to the lines too. Thanks for creating something so sweet hugs Nikki
Too sweet and cute!!!
Such a cute one. and yes, gotta love springime and coffee.
Your chickie's got my fluffy exterior! I choose to think she's got tea latte in that cup, on the sly! smile!
Such an adorable image. I don't see smearing:-)
That image is just too cute, Verna. The smearing just adds to the character of the birdie. Besides, you did it on purpose, didn't you? :)
