Rainbow Hearts

My last order with Gina K. Designs entitled me to the free incentive stamp set and today I used it for a quick note card of encouragement and kindness for a friend who is searching for her biological family. I wanted her to know I wished her luck and was supportive of her journey. The Gina K. Designs stamp set is called You Got Me.

I colored directly onto the solid hearts image with my Tombows and did a rainbow of colors. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Black ink. Once I had my design stamped I simply die cut it with a Cottage Cutz double stitched rectangle die and then mounted it to a black layer of card stock. I on purpose added this panel in a wonky position onto the Gina K. Designs Dusty Rose card stock.

I cannot imagine how frustrating it might be to know that perhaps you might have extended family out there somewhere. I thought this sentiment was one that would be awesome for someone who is searching for answers of that type. Also for someone who is doing a genealogy search.

I am entering this in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge where the theme is Rainbows.

Thanks for your visits and I love all the wonderful comments you leave too.

God bless,
Verna

What a sweet & kind way to encourage your friend in her search. I'm sure that at points in this journey, she must feel she's hit roadblocks & just get discouraged about ever finding out the info she wants & needs. This is an excellent use of your freebie set. Love the rainbow of color, and like the way you've mounted the focal image on the hotpink. TFS & Hugs

Absolutely wonderful card! Love the rainbow of hearts & that sentiment is fabulous! My hubby actually discovered who his father was 3 years ago thanks to DNA. It's still pretty amazing to us that he's gone from being an only child with no relatives to someone with 13 first cousins still alive. Unfortunately his dad died many years ago, but we have a few pictures now & you can sure tell they're related. Hope your friend is successful in her search.

Verna, this rainbow is such a cheery way to use your incentive stamps! I didn’t place an order this time, so I am enjoying what other people are making with it. Have a good day!

I'm assuming you used the MISTI to stamp these as they are perfectly placed. An excellent design for a rainbow themed challenge.

No MISTI used at all. I just eyeballed them. LOL
