Easter Cross in Ombre Colors

Another Easter card design and this time I used another cross image from Sparkle N Sprinkle and stamped it in black ink onto a Peeps advertisement in a magazine. I embossed it with black ink and cut it out.

This will be entered in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge for this week in which one is to use magazine ads in your card designs. Magazine Madness is the theme.

This design was then placed onto a Spellbinder Lacey Ovals die which was cut of yellow card stock. Next I layered the die cut onto a piece of light blue card stock and lined it with black card stock. Finally I adhered this onto the base card of pink card stock.

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from Gina K. Designs in black ink onto white card stock and then layering it onto black card stock before placing it on my card front panel.

This went together very easily as the colors of the peeps were perfect for the look I was trying to achieve. And, pretty simple fussy cutting too.

Well, thanks for joining me for a fun Sunday afternoon. I am so happy to see all of the comments you leave me too.

God bless,
