Blossoms and Bisters

The carpenters left early today so I did get a chance to play with my Bisters and some great stamps from Gina K. Designs.

I started out with a yellow Bisters background and from there I added the blossoms and leaves from the Gina K. Designs Blossoms set. Also the butterflies were from Bister backgrounds. One is from blue background and one is from a red background. They are popped up over the background which I created for the card and the butterflies are from the Gina K. Designs Butterflies and Dogwood set. I colored the blossoms which were originally stamped in black ink with a blue Copic marker.

I layered this panel onto a medium pink or almost salmon colored card stock and then on the base card of ivory. The final step was to cut an oval from the ivory with a Cherry Lynn Designs die and then a frame die of the pinkish salmon colored card stock to showcase it which is from Sue Wilson's French Collection.

Oh, I almost forgot to add that the rhinestones around the sentiment were originally clear but I colored them in with the same Copic marker that I used on the blossoms.

Well, it was a fun time and I am happy to have you stop by and look at my little piece of artwork. I hope your weekend is fantastic.

God bless,
Verna

  5. Lovely Bisters background, Miss Verna, and fabulous card design. The combination of colors is wonderful, and I especially like how the 2 butterflies are the same, yet different - going in different directions, wearing different colors, and yet both set off to do what they are called to do -- just like the rest of us! Thanks for sharing such a pretty card! hugs, de
