The carpenters left early today so I did get a chance to play with my Bisters and some great stamps from Gina K. Designs.
I started out with a yellow Bisters background and from there I added the blossoms and leaves from the Gina K. Designs Blossoms set. Also the butterflies were from Bister backgrounds. One is from blue background and one is from a red background. They are popped up over the background which I created for the card and the butterflies are from the Gina K. Designs Butterflies and Dogwood set. I colored the blossoms which were originally stamped in black ink with a blue Copic marker.
I layered this panel onto a medium pink or almost salmon colored card stock and then on the base card of ivory. The final step was to cut an oval from the ivory with a Cherry Lynn Designs die and then a frame die of the pinkish salmon colored card stock to showcase it which is from Sue Wilson's French Collection.
Oh, I almost forgot to add that the rhinestones around the sentiment were originally clear but I colored them in with the same Copic marker that I used on the blossoms.
Well, it was a fun time and I am happy to have you stop by and look at my little piece of artwork. I hope your weekend is fantastic.
God bless,
Verna

Beautiful card, I used those stamps too! Love your background! Now I have to go look up what Bisters are.... ;)
very pretty and spring like!
I love your background! The combination of your Bisters and colored stamped images is great. And your butterflies look great, too. Very nice!
Gorgeous background Verna. Love that stamp set. Great layout.
Fabulous background Verna!
Well, there you go with the bisters again. They make such unique designs. You never know what you will get, but you always find a beautiful ways to use them. I love the bright and knockout card.
Lovely Bisters background, Miss Verna, and fabulous card design. The combination of colors is wonderful, and I especially like how the 2 butterflies are the same, yet different - going in different directions, wearing different colors, and yet both set off to do what they are called to do -- just like the rest of us! Thanks for sharing such a pretty card! hugs, de
Good job with the Bisters. I love my Brushos, but you already know that...lol. I love this card with the beautiful background and then the gorgeous butterflies. Great way to display the greeting too, coloring the rhinestones is genius!! Well done!
Gorgeous card and I love that background. Wish my backgrounds tuned out that well when I play with my bisters, but you've definitely inspired me to try again.
Glad you are having fun in your craft room again. Great background and background samping.
