Pattern Paper to the Rescue

Remember I was telling  you last time how I was needing Halloween cards and was sort of stumped as to what I could do with a pumpkin theme which would be different from other years. Well, I happened to remember I had purchased the Gina K. Designs Spooktacular You paper pack so I looked the papers over and found some I thought would work up well with the few Halloween stamps that I own. These are 6 x 6 sheets and I got three cards from each sheet. I ended up making 12 cards and hope that will be enough to carry me through this season.

The stamps I used are from a set I won a few years back. The set is CP-N1 Halloween Cling Pack and they are made by Rosewood Stamps from Canada.

I tell you this is a good feeling to have my cards done even if they are a very clean and simple design. All I really have to do now is add an inside sentiment. I am thinking of stamping a little pumpkin and simply adding the sentiment Smile!

I will have to check into some other options for next year so I might go with a small purchase of dies to change it up a bit. I don't have any with a Halloween theme. But I have time to shop around now at least.

Well, hope your week is going great so far. Thanks for stopping by again and checking out my card making projects.

God bless,
Verna

Your little Halloweenie cards are so sweet, Verna, and perfect for remembering those special treat-or-treaters in your life. I like how you were able to use the papers, and their pieces, to create these! hugs, de
