Sometimes you need a card that will work for many special occasions such as a wedding, anniversary, confirmation, first communion or even a birthday. This card I made using a NBUS stamp set from Gina K. Designs called Sending Love fit right into that category. I am entering this into Darnell's NBUS challenge #11 since this is a first outing for me using this set.
I stamped the images and sentiment onto white card stock with a black Versafine ink pad and then colored them in with Prismacolor Pencils which were blended with Gamsol. I die cut the design out with a Cottage Cutz Double Stitched Rectangle set. And this was added to a white card base to which I added the purple design cut with a Top Dog Modern Mosaic A2 Mat Die. I believe that company is no longer in business but I am sure there are other dies that would work just as well.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Say Monday-Things With Wings
Word Art Wednesday-Challenge 276-277 Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday-Anything Goes
Dare 2B Artzy Challenge-Anything Goes
Penny Black and More Challenge April-All Things Spring
Thanks always for your visits and wonderful comments. I hope you are having a great Sunday afternoon too.
God bless,
Verna

Beautiful card, Verna. Lovely design and gorgeous colours. xx
I love it, Verna, when you do flowers because you color them so well. You are making me very anxious to get out my Prisma colored pencils. I love the colors that you chose for the butterfly. I have been watching videos on You Tube concerning how to use colored pencils, so I think I could be better at it now. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of colored pencils. I have some watercolor pencils, too, that I used to use and love. I got some hints on how to use those better, too. You sure are right when you say that your card could be used for many, many occasions. Great job; I like the saying also.
Beeeeeeeeeutiful card Verna. Love everything about this one.

Such a bright and welcoming card and the purples really pop against the white elements, many thanks for sharing with us at Penny Black and More challenge.
