I made a card by using some of the leftovers I had in my stash. I saw that it fit the Double D Challenge-July-December Flowers so I am entering this in the line up.
I was cleaning up a lot of my card making area and came across this darling image from Power Poppy called Candy Cane Classic. I colored most of it with my Bics but for the ribbon I colored it with Sakura glitter pens I found when clearing out things in my area. So I used that for the ribbon and also added a bit to the sentiment which was from Stamplorations. A left over layer of mirror card stock from Crafter's Companion fit in quite well too. And, all was added to a white card base.
Not only have I been cleaning but I also put up a bunch of rhubarb for the freezer. I still have more of that to do. And, a couple days I just took it easy. But this week back to it before company arrives on Thursday. I hope all of you are having a wonderful week and take care. I appreciate the visits too.
God bless, Verna

This is a pretty card. I have this image, too. It's fun to color. The blue paper is beautiful. Do you ever make Rhubarb pie? I had never heard of if until many years ago and have only had it once. It was very tasty. It was actually a Rhubarb strawberry pie. [Bunny]
Oh what a delight when cleaning up. The mirror card is the perfect layer to your coloring. I too have rhubarb to get to. Good thing I got the horseradish in the freezer because it is flowering and besides you only take it in months with an r.
Really beautiful Verna. Love the shimmery blue.
Such a lovely card with the candy cane image!! And, love the shiny blue paper!!
This is a great image, Verna, and I love how you have colored and framed it! It would also work for the current CAS Christmas challenge which ends tomorrow. Don't overdo getting ready for company! Hugs, Darnell

What a festive card with all the sparkle and sheen and the super cute image! Mmmm, Verna, strawberry-rhubarb or just rhubarb pie is my favorite. Got some other good rhubarb recipes, too. Love that tart-sweet flavor!
You, my dear, are the queen of the Bic. I can never get mine to work like you do. This is an adorable design, and I love that you used the glitter pen too. Great take on the Mood Board, thanks so much for playing along with us this time over at the Double D Challenge.

YUMMM I love rhubarb ... we used to grow it back home (of course back then we grew & canned everything lol). Nothing better than a strawberry/rhubarb pie ... Mmmmm making me hungry! LOL Be careful out there ... don't overdo it!
