Die Cut Flowers

I did another simple card design for the Die-Namites Challenge for March. I am limited on their company dies but am surely giving some of the few I own a workout as I love them. The March challenge is to use the sketch and also  a cut out on the card. So I found this to be an easy challenge.

First of all I used a Cheery Lynn Designs circle die to cut my circle in the upper part of the panel. Then I embossed that panel with the Die-sire Embossalicious Florabunda embossing folder. This panel was popped up over the base card of white card stock.

My Die-Namites "Love Arrangement" die cut was done with black card stock. I then placed that over the circle portion of the panel.

The sentiment I chose was a more generic one that I thought would work for many types of occasions. This is a Gina K. Designs sentiment and is from the Stippled Nature set. This sentiment was embossed and heat set with white detail embossing powder onto black card stock and then popped up on the card base. My card was now complete. Inside I can later add an appropriate sentiment for the occasion needed.

Thanks so much for checking out my design and for the comments that you leave. I always appreciate each and every one of them.

God bless,
Verna

Love how you have mounted the die cut. It looks like one of those expensive laser cut cards. And I love the black and white with the textured background. Just gorgeous - you have inspired me, once again...lol.
