Rainbow of Colors

I took a bit of time to make a quick Easter card and this time I used a rainbow of colors on it. This card will be entered into the Double D's Blog Challenge and the Mod Squad Blog Challenge.

I used three dies on my cards. One for the frame, one for the grass and eggs element and of course, one for that bunny rabbit. I also used my Zig watercolor markers to add color to the eggs and the grass. My sentiment for this card is from Inspired by Stamping and is from the Easter Lily set. After all was assembled the final touch was to add a black rhinestone to the bunny for his eye.

I used the following dies:
Die-Namites "Spring Grass" DN-1153
Die-Namites "Spring Bunny" DN-1142
Memory Box Cross Stitched Frame Borders Style No. 99124

Well, my card for the day is complete. Now it is back to baking for the church bake sale Saturday. This afternoon it is Old Fashioned Raisin Spice Cake. It will be frosted with a caramel frosting. My Mom and Grandmother used to make this years ago and I always liked it. I know my hubby will too as he takes after his Dad and loves raisins and spices. I might have to put a bit into a smaller pan so he can get a taste too. It makes a huge cake. LOL

Take care everyone and have a great rest of the day.

God bless,
Verna
