Fall Blessings

I just love the beautiful sentiment on this card which reminds me of all the times we went to the county fairs and walked through the exhibit buildings and saw the field crops and all the lush produce from the gardens. Of course, it often depended on the weather that growing season as to how much and how well the crops produced but it never failed to show off a lot of goodies. So this card is dedicated to the good Lord for all those Fall blessings he bestows on us each growing season.

Besides the sentiment I also used an apple image. I used Bic Mark-It pens to color it and fussy cut it out and layered it above the sentiment panel which was also die cut with the Die-Namic rectangle die. This panel was layered over the base card and on the bottom I added some leftovers from using a chevron die using various colors of card stock..

The last thing I added to the card design was some wheat stalks which were die cut and given to me by a friend. They sure do work well on this card and I am very thankful for them. I think I might have to get my own wheat die for future designs.

I lined the inside of the card with some white card stock and on this area I can then write a message or stamp an inside verse.

Stamps:
Sentiment from I Brake For Stamps
Apple from Gina K. Designs Harvest of Wishes Set

Dies used:
Die-Namics: MFT-839 Wonky Stitched Rectangles and MFT Stepped Up Chevron
Impression Obsession: Wheat

Other Supplies:
Card Stock: Gina K. Designs
Scor-Pal for scoring card

Ranger Multi-Medium Matte Glue
Bic Mark-It Pens
