This week was another sad week for us as we learned of the death of the father of our grandson. I struggled as to what to do for a sympathy card and finally settled on this design. I hope it gives his family comfort at this sad time.
I chose the beautiful solid daisy image from the Love and Prayers set available now in the Journey of the Heart set by Gina K. Designs. I stamped the image and the sentiment in Gina K. Designs Dark Chocolate ink onto Gina K. Pure Luxury Ocean Mist card stock. This had been cut out with the Nestabilities Majestic Labels 25 die set. The frame was also cut out with this lovely labels set too with a brown tone stardream card stock. . This was all placed onto a base card of the Ocean Mist. I finished the card by adding some Ocean Mist colored ribbon and some pearls.
I must day that the flower and sentiment on this card could be used for so many occasions but I felt this was a message of comfort for the family and that was why I put it on the front so it would be an immediate boost to them hopefully!
I am entering this in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge in which we are to use flowers.
Thanks everyone for your wonderful messages and I want to let you know I appreciate each and every one of them. I hope your day is wonderful and remember....each day that passes is a little bit closer to spring. Isn't that a great ray of hope for all of us? God bless.

This beautiful card will be a lovely way to show your sympathy and love during this difficult time. I was so sorry to read of this sad loss for you and your grandson.
Verna, this card is perfect for this sad occasion. The colours are serene and the sentiment states your feelings beautifully. What a lovely labels die set which sets off the flowers focal image perfectly. My sympathies go out to you and your family.
I had to think about that one - the father of your grandson. Seems like that would be your son. But I get blended families, which must be the case here. Your card is lovely, I really like your color pallet. This card is perfect!
No, not my son but my ex son-in-law died. Sorry it was hard to explain it.
