My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves to call Grandma Verna now and then. She seldom says much but loves to listen to Grandma talk to her. I saw this cute image on the Loads of Love set by Penny Black and decided this would be a good valentine design to use for her. She also loves kitties so this I know she will like. I did not add any bling at all since she is a toddler.
I embossed a white panel with this Cuttlebug design from the Winter Wonderland collection. I just love that plaid design. I then rubbed some red ink onto the surface of it. And, I cut that panel with a die. I also used a die set to cut out the kitty image. I did several of the outer circle ring so that the insert of the image is recessed.
Dies used:
Die-Namics MFT-948 Single Stitch Line Circle Frames
Die-Namics MFT-914 Blueprints 29
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge-Cute
Crop Stop Linky Party #25
Mod Squad Blog Challenge-Heat or Dry Embossing

Nothing like a Grandma! What a lucky little girl - I'm sure she will adore this super little card, made especially for her. Awesome background!
I see a kitty! You know I love this! Cute story about your granddaughter!
So so cute and made with lots of Love too. Grandchildren are so precious. I know she will love this card especially as it comes from you.
That kitty is soooooo cute and it sure ties into the fact that your little granddaughter calls you. She will love it; it's a super card. I love the background. Is the stitching around it from a die. If it is where did ever get it; I've never seen a die that would do that.
Hello, Verna! Check out Darnell's NBUS winner list!!! Congratulations, my friend! I won too! Yay!
So cute. Know that feeling but love that they want to call. :)
