More Emboss Resist

I received new stamps sets in the mail today and had to do another card using the emboss resist technique. The stamp I used is from the Gina K. Designs Daisy Delight set which is illustrated by Theresa Momber. I know this set will be used a lot by me as I love daisies.

I took white card stock and used my anti static bag on it and then stamped the daisy silhouette stamp image with Versamark and embossed it with Gina K. Designs fine detailed white powder and the heat set it.

Then I simply added some sponged inks to it, backed it onto some black card stock and then again onto the base card of white card stock. In the upper right corner I stamped the sentiment. I just love how this came out and it will be a design I will be using often.

Thanks for looking and  blessings to all of you this Holy Week.

Hugs,
Verna

Beautiful card, Verna, the daisies look so peaceful and serene with their heads veering towards the lovely blue sky. Fantastic card :)

Verna, I love daisies and your sympathy card is great; having the focal point somewhere in the middle of the card and doing a little bit of the black second layer was stunning. It certainly shows off the white daisies and lighter background. The smaller print of the saying does the same thing; the eye of the looker goes right to the picture you designed. I think the embossed resist is a neat technique, too.

Oh so beautiful, Verna. The way you blended the colors turned out so soft, serene. But I'm sorry you need sympathy cards. Whoever you give this to, well, they will feel the love and effort you put into this card. Big hugs ♥

The white resist floral border looks so pretty against the soft sponging - just like seeing a field of flowers against the blue sky of a sunset. So pretty & worked nicely for a sympathy card. I like the design layout very much. Enjoy your visitors! Happy Easter, TFS

Oooh Verna, how wonderful is this card I do love it so very much, and I've an old stamp but a goodie from SU like this ..rather neglected methinks I need to dust it off and CAS this, love your soft colouring .. and shades used.
I've just scheduled a DT post for almost 24 hours time, I have posted today or Good Friday but didn't welcome you on it, as wanted to keep it as an Easter post. So welcoming you on my DT post. Thanks so much for joining my blog as an encourager, you are a blessing.
The Lord bless you and those you love this Easter time as we give thanks for the Lord Jesus Who gave His all for us...
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

What a beautiful card. Love it. Doing the stamp in white embossing instead of black. Gotta give that a try for a change.
