I originally was going to use several rose blooms but I accidentally dropped the largest one on top of the leaves when they were just sitting there and I decided that was a very pretty arrangement already. So I went with it. That stamp set is a multi step one so I used three shades of inks from the purple family for the roses and two shades of green for the leaves.
Thanks for stopping in. I had no idea I would get two cards made today but that is fine. It is always nice to have a productive afternoon.

That was a happy boo-boo, and I agree, the single rose is beautiful enough on its own. Looks lovely in the lavender colors, and perfect for a sympathy card (or any occasion!) This single rose with the matching card stock circle makes the most beautiful CAS sympathy card! I couldn't imagine it any prettier. You're giving me ideas as to how I might use a similar SU set. I love the look of this!

This is so beautiful! The purple is so striking and you did a fantastic job with the layering of that flower.. I've ended up in tears with layered flowers...lol... I don't cry too much in my craft room... lol... but I did get quite frustrated. I think the one rose is just right...
