I made this card last night as I was having withdrawal so bad from not doing any stamping. So I pulled out a Gina K. Designs stamp set called Tropical Tidings and used this image from it to make this very simple card. And it was a NBUS stamp set so I am happy that I finally got to using part of it.
I stamped it with Amalgon black ink from Gina K. Designs and then colored it with Copic markers. Dies used were the single stitched rectangle one from Gina K. Designs and the double stitched rectangle die from Cottage Cutz. After assembling the blue and white layers I added it to a white card base. The final touch was a few rhinestone gems.
I am lucky that the Mod Squad Challenge this time is for Anything Goes so this will fit right in. The rest of the week will be spent getting ready for company over the long weekend. So no stamping for awhile again for me. I hope you all have a great Labor Day weekend too. Thanks for stopping in and for all the sweet comments you leave.
God bless,
Verna

Very pretty. I am finding that I like this new Amalagam black ink. Have used it with my copics, but not tried with water color yet. This is a lovely image, and I love the blue tones you've used. It's a perfect card for sympathy, get well or changing the sentiment, a birthday or any other occasion. TFS & Hugs & Happy Labor Day to you as well.
Ooooh, Verna! Your beautiful card exudes love! So blissfully sweet and peaceful, the recipient will definitely feel your heartfelt love and prayers. It’s beautiful! Hugs, de
Very pretty! I agree, the colors and images together look peaceful.
That's beautiful, a stunning type of indigo to violet color. I know what you mean about stamping withdrawal. Me, too. It's a horrible feeling so I'm glad you got to create. I hope I can, too :)
This is gorgeous,a beautiful stamp and such pretty colours.xxx
Such a pretty card and that stamp is beautiful. Love the lilac/violet colours and also the stitched die cut rectangles in both single and double, which adds a wonderful effect. Gorgeous card and enjoy the weekend with your company X
How beautiful, Verna. I love your colors, and your coloring is amazing. Great design too....all the white really makes the image pop. PINNING!!!!
It may be simple but it is beautiful and elegant.
Verna, this card just pops right out there and says "look how beautiful I am!" It's a gorgeous stamp and such a lovely card with a clean and simple design. Love the stitched mats and sequins. I know what you mean about stamping withdrawal. It will literally keep me awake at night. Although I have a couple of posts this week, it's been a few days since I made the cards and I'm pining away for stamping. Maybe today...
Simply beautiful Verna. Gorgeous colours sentiment and the dies you used all add up to a stunning result.
