No. 5 Cowboy Coffee Scene

Well here I am with another coffee design for the 2021 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop. This time I made a scene which I think reminded me of the old west when coffee and beans were made over the camp fire. I used an older stamp of mine which is from I Brake for Stamps. I colored it in with my Bics and then used a blending brush to add the sky. Also I used the brush on the bottom of the scene and then with a fine line Bic marker I added some swipes to make it look more like grass.  I layered a piece of wood grain pattern paper to a white card base and then layered the scene to black before adding it to the card.

I am also entering this in the Double D's Challenge-Skies.

Thanks for the visit and I hope you can get some designs into the coffee challenge too. Lots of wonderful prizes will be given and you may be one of the lucky ones. Check the link above and also there is information on my sidebar.

Take care and God bless, Verna

I love this fun card and especially that blue sky and the rustic card base! The sentiment reminds me of that old movie "blazing saddles!" LOL

Verna, I always enjoy your coffee cards when challenge time rolls around. You've got bunches of cute ones again and I love them all. I have a soft spot for the older stamps or stamps that may be a little different from most of what we see, and this one fits the bill. Great card with the weathered wood paper. Thanks for a nice visit on this Saturday.
