Delicate Dahlias

This afternoon I played with a new Stampin' Up! set called Delicate Dahlias. I thought they were such a pretty flower and I know I can always use more sympathy cards in my stash too!

The light tan or brown marks were done by taking a light brown ink cube and swiping it in various directions and along the edges. I had to do some masking to make the design. Inks used were from Rubbernecker.

Thanks for stopping in and I love to read what you say each time too!

God bless, Verna

Really pretty, Verna, the dalias are gorgeous, and your swiping technique finishes it like a pro!

I love that cool look swiping an ink pad gave you. It gives texture without adding bulk. The dahlias are beautiful and right on time for autumn. Have a great week.

This is gorgeous. You have used that stamp perfectly. Those kinds of realistic stamps are sometimes difficult to get a good impression, I think you know the trick. Great colors and design too, I love it.
