The other day when I printed out the free digital from Stamplorations I did one in a smaller size too. So since I had so much fun working with the larger one I decided today to make the smaller version into a card as well. This will be my final entry into the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I have really enjoyed this event again.
After I had the design colored I cut it with my guillotine cutter and then took the Die'Sire Edge'ables Lattice Flourish die to cut the border. I then layered this onto a panel of grape card stock which I thought was a good match to some of the flowers in the image. These panels were then placed onto a white card base. The last thing added was three pearls on the bottom right edge of the card.
I hope you have enjoyed all my coffee and tea creations and that I have not bored you too much. But I do know for sure I have had a great time doing this hop again. But it is time to put the play things back in their places and get ready once again for weekend guests, a wedding to attend and also a church pot luck. And, on one of those days is my hubby's birthday so that may need a bit of celebrating too.
Thanks for the lovely comments you have left me. I wish blogger would allow me to reply when people make comments but unless I have your email address I cannot thank you the way I wish or even answer questions. If you do have a question I will have to just make a comment on my blog in hopes you will come back to see the answer.
Have a great rest of the week.
God bless,
Verna

Hello Coffee
Stamplorations offered this digital stamp freebie and I took advantage of it and used it for this card design for the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I am quite pleased with the way it turned out too. It is just a very simple design but CAS is my style as most of you know.
I printed it out on white card stock and then colored the design with my Copics. I then die cut that panel out with a Gina Marie Designs Loopy Rectangle die. I placed it on a light blue card base and the finishing touch was to add a few black gems around the sentiment.
I hope many of you took time to enter this hop as there is lots of fantastic prizes being offered once again. And I so enjoy seeing what others do as I am always inspired by their talents.
Until next time, have a great life! And thanks for the wonderful comments.
God bless,
Verna

Cute Coffee Stickers
I did a simple card using a printable coffee bean design from The Cutting Cafe for the background, some adorable stickers from Doodlebug Designs Inc. from the Latte Love set, and a sentiment and washi tape from Gina K. Designs. I am entering this in the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop for my sixth entry.
Don't you just love those smiling faces on those stickers. I was so fortunate to win these from a previous hop and now this time I am using them for a card design. I really like them.
Well, I thank all who have stopped in lately to visit and leave comments. I am afraid I don't have any way to thank you as I don't have email addresses for all of you. But I assure you I read all of them and so appreciate the lovely words you leave me.
God bless,

Coffee Friendship
I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day. The last of our company left about an hour ago so now I can get back to my posts showing the projects I made for the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop.
I tried to use some more spring/summer colors for this card design. My cup and sentiment are from the Stampendous set called Coffee Talk. I stamped the cup onto some alcohol ink background paper I had made previously and since it was a glossy card stock it resembled a ceramic look. The Coffee die is one from Cutplorations the die division of Stamplorations. I used the negative of it and just mounted it over a piece of light green paper. I went with a yellow panel to place all the elements and then added it to a base card of light green. The flowers are some I had in my stash from years back so I used them by alternating two of the blossoms between a yellow and green one. The last thing I added was some gems in the center of each bloom.
Well, that is it for today. I think it is time to do some relaxing after this busy weekend. Next weekend we will have guests again and we will also be attending a wedding. And with doctor appointments and a birthday in the middle of the week I am sure not much creativity will be done. At any rate, I don't want to make a big creative clutter since we will be getting more company soon.
So until next post, take care and forgive me for not commenting when you post as I am not getting notices anymore. I guess from what I have heard it is a blogger issue and therefore not a great deal we can do. Hopefully, things will soon be resolved.
God bless,
Verna

Mother's Day Tea Card
While my internet is still working I will post my fourth card I made for the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop. This time it is a card for Mother's Day.
I used pattern paper, card stock, the stacked cups and a sentiment from the Gina K. Designs line. The teapot is a Cheapo die. And, the edging die is from Die'sire from Crafter's Companion. Putting them all together created a great design I think.
Thanks for the visit.

Father's Day Shaker
I have another offering for the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I made a shaker card using a cocoa cup die from Gina Marie Designs.
The sequin package is from Sparkle Blends and is called Coffee. I cut the cup die several times in order to get some depth in the small opening to add shaker elements and even at that it was a cramped space. I think if I ever do it again I will have to find smaller shaker items for it. I decorated the cup with Washi Tape and added a sentiment from Gina K. Designs. The background paper used is a printable coffee design from The Cutting Cafe.
Thanks for stopping in. We are in more summer like temps with our thermometer to reach into the 90's this weekend. Very humid too as we had quite a bit of rain last week. So that means my computer won't function very well. In fact, I will be lucky to get this posted.
And since I got my blog updated with the Privacy Protection I don't seem to get emails anymore saying when someone has published a comment. But I check periodically to read them and I thank you so much for visiting and for your wonderful words.
Have a great weekend.
God bless,
Verna

Perk Up!
Oh, my! What a busy time this weekend with the holiday and company arriving and trying to get my blog in order so it complies. But thanks to a good friend I think I have the blog at least okay so now it is just a matter of getting the rest of my cleaning done and flowers out to the graves of my family. Thank goodness I did a few cards ahead of time for the 2018 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop so that I can do a quick write up and post them. This one I am really pleased as to how it turned out.
All the stamps, inks and papers used are from Gina K. Designs except for the Coffee die which is from Stamplorations! I used the Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder template stencil to get the images onto my focal panel using stamps from the Gina K. Designs Coffee stamp set. The die cut Coffee was added to a pattern paper that I made using the Gina K. Designs Diagonal Stripes background stamp.
Thanks for the visit and I wish you a great weekend.
God bless,
Verna
