Entry # 13 A Baker's Dozen

Well, I have been eyeing all the wonderful cards that were made with the free Verve Rise and Shine Digital and so I took a bit of time to make a simple card using that digital set. I am so happy with it and think I may use this set of stamps a lot more for card making. Maybe I am finally getting onto this digital thing. Ya think? Anyway, this card will be entered into the 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I again took the images and put them on a Word Doc. and then printed them off. I colored them with the Zig water color markers. I chose card stock scraps that were pretty much matching in color to my Zigs and added two strips of that to a black and white gingham background which was placed on the pink card base. I then fussy cut the cup and die cut the sentiment. They were then popped up over the gingham and the green and yellow strips. I carried the theme over into the inside too.

Dies used on this card are the following:
Cheery Lynn Designs XM-4 Circle Classics
Die-Namics MFT 914 Blueprints 29

I hope you have seen a little sun your way. We saw a bit of it but for the most part it was off and on today. And, I think we will get down to freezing again tonight. But it was in the 50's during the day time. I wish all of you a great evening and I thank you for visiting and for commenting.

God bless,
Verna

Verna,WOW!! You sure went wild with the colors this time. Your card snaps me back to my teenage years when everyone was into pink and black; love it. Verve's stamps will love it, too. Nice of him to offer free digis even though I'm incapable of using them; in other words, I don't know how to use them. I love the saying and the sun, too. You've outdone yourself with #13; are we going to see #14?
