I thought I would join in on the Mod Squad Blog Challenge in which the theme is Winter. So using Kitchen Sink Stamps I made this simple little scene.
Stamp sets from Kitchen Sink Stamps were Multi Step-Tree Friends, Multi Step-Snowy Pine Trees and the Greetings From The Woods. I sponged on my sky line first using Andirondack Lights Cloudy Blue and Gina K. Designs Ocean Mist. Then the trees were stamped with Gina K. Designs Moonlit Fog, Jelly Bean Green and Grass Green. The deer were stamped with Gina K. Designs Kraft and the sentiment was done with Gina K. Designs Lipstick. I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for the birds. The whole scene was placed on a White card stock panel and then layered onto Lipstick card stock before adding it to a White card base. All the card stock is from Gina K. Designs. The focal panel was die cut with a Memory Box Cross Stitched Border die.
A very simple scene but it really depicts winter in a lot of areas. Thanks for visiting and for your lovely comments always. I hope all of you are having a great week.
God bless,
Verna

So, so pretty and peaceful Verna. A perfect little snowy scene!
I love your peaceful snowy scene! Reminds me of Mn!
Wow! Such a lovely scene, Verna. Your majestic, soaring eagles lend a certain awe to your otherwise peaceful scenery, right down to the pale colors. Beautiful!
Nicely done scene. You have placed the trees and the deer just right in this peaceful card. Those eagles in the sky are the cherry on the top.
This is TRULY peaceful. Love your scene, you always do them so well. Beautiful card!!
Your pretty winter scene does evoke a sense of peacefulness as well as chilly cold. Love the way those snowy trees are providing shelter from the wind for those grazing deer. The bright red mat is a pretty contrast to the serenity of the scene. TFS & Happy Wkend. Hope that all things are going well. Hugs
This is so peaceful and serene. I love the scene you created. It looks like I should be walking through the snow enjoying the quiet.
Love the scene you have created, just gorgeous.xxx
Beautiful card! I love the scene...it is very peaceful, just like the sentiment says!
These are lovely stamps. The deer and birds are just the right size!
This really is a peaceful looking card and I love the soft colors and beautiful scene you created! NJ!
This is just beautiful! So serene! What an amazing scene you have crafted!
Beautiful...it looks like a scene right out my picture window! We have 6 deer that make a nightly pass right through the yard along the creek, I just hope they won't continue to do in the spring when my flowers start to pop!
This is really lovely...Great scene that you have created here!
What a beautiful peaceful scene you've created! Love the soft colors and serene feel...
Yes, this is a very peaceful card
This is beautiful, Verna! You're very good with your stamps and designs. A peaceful, quiet scene you created. We're on our second day of wintery mix and woke up to a skiff of snow on the ground this morning. So much for our false spring. We knew it wouldn't last.
Beautiful winter scene, Verna! I love those cute deer and gorgeous trees!
Absolutely beautiful Verna, your sentiment says it all... I especially love the birds (eagles) soaring above and feel they finish the scene.
Love your scene. Thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
Beautiful! Love the little winter scene you created!
Lovely scene! I don't have any multi-step tree stamps, but think I might "need" to get one!
