By the title no doubt you are realizing that I did the thumping technique on this simple no layer card. I used images from Gina K. Designs Festive Foliage stamp set. I did he solid images first with an inking from a pad and then with a marker I thumped or pounced onto the image using a different color and then stamped it. That is called thumping.
I had to do my thumping with some Zig water color markers so it might not look as good as if I had some inky Tombos or Memento pens. But I worked with what I did have on hand. I did not think Copics would work.
I am entering this in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge-Thump, Thump Away!
Thanks for the visit and I just love to read all the comments you leave me. I will be back later today with another post. I got behind due to weather conditions so had to leave the computer alone. Until then take care.
God bless,
Verna

This looks great, Verna! Gorgeous look on those leaves and berries! I want to try this technique before the challenge ends!
You’ve done a lovely job with that technique, which is a favorite of mine! Fun Christmas card!
Your thumps of color in the leaves looks amazing, Verna! Sweet card.
This is such a pretty card! Your thumping shows up really well.
I think that part of a challenge is working with what you have. This turned out fabulous and I love it.
How lovely, you have really captured this technique. LOVE your design, and the Zigs work perfectly!! Who says you have to use markers? Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge

I think your thumping with the zigs turned out beautifully and this was a good image to do that technique. It's always fun to see how well the techniques work so well, when you adapt to what you have on hand. Good job! TFS
I really wanted to enter that challenge, but ran out of time. Wouldn't have thought to try it with Zigs, but you ended up with a lovely card!
So here's another cool one! So pretty! Love the texture the thumping creates on the image!
An absolutely beautiful CAS Christmas card! Your thumping with the Zigs produced perfect results, I think. My thumping has never turned out this good. I do love this card!
