Using another of my acrylic block backgrounds I decided to make a wreath using the Gina K. Designs Autumn Wreath Builder set. I first stamped the basic wreath using the flower and leaf design using the MISTI. Then I took and hand stamped the leaves and pumpkin around that basic wreath oval. And the final addition of the sentiment was done by placing it back in the MISTI. Good thing I did that too as I had to re-stamp it more then once to get a good impression.
I cut by hand around the acrylic block design quite closely leaving only a small border of Ivory card stock. Then I placed it on the black layer and fussy cut around that as well. The final step was to add it to an Ivory card base. Really an easy design and I am quite pleased with it too!
I am entering this in the Mod Squad Blog Challenge which calls for an acrylic block stamped background. I sure have been enjoying working with these backgrounds and I hope to share another one with you tomorrow as well.
Have a great evening and please drop in any time. I love to see you visit and leave such wonderful comments.
God bless,
Verna

Just beautiful! Love the way you've done the background and then stamped the GK wreath motifs. My 2 stamps and the templates are still NBUS. You did a fantastic job on this one, Verna. TFS & happy wkend. Hugs
Very elegant design using the wreath builder! It's so cool that you can get a rectangle with it, especially adding your own hand stamped images around the wreath. Brilliant!!
Beautiful,love the background.xxx
Not only is this a pretty stamped design, I love the way you fussy cut around the edges to leave the white border! Awesome!
Another pretty card using the inked block. The wreath is so perfect for fall. What did we do before the Misti! And yes, Evening in Paris, I remember it well. Also Blue Waltz.
Beautiful design and colors. Thanks for taking the challenge with us at the <a href="http://modsquadchallenge.com”>Mod Squad Challenge</a>
The mix of the colours on your fabulous acrylic block background looks great. Wonderful wreath building and Yey to the Misti x.
LOVE your background, it's beautiful and interesting! And your wreath is so pretty all Fallish! LOVE!
Gorgeous make Verna! Just looking back at your other cards too - these backgrounds are fabulous and make a great base - especially for some fall-themed cards, with the colors you have used. Great work!
Very nice, Verna! Each new card with this technique makes me want more and more to try it out. Beautiful use of the fall stamps for your oval wreath!
This one just might be my fave! Love that bit of blue in there and the wreath is so beautiful!
What a unique & lovely card!
Another awesome take on the acrylic block technique. This is so creative. Thanks for playing along with us once again over at The Mod Squad. You have really mastered the challenge on this one.
