Well, I am not sure if I achieved the look I was going for but none the less I did enjoy making this card. I thought it would be a nice masculine design too. I used stamps from the Blue Knight stamp set called Silhouette Corner Foliage. I added these stamps to my background which I had made using sponging tools from Picket Fence Designs.
We are having a bit more dreary afternoon so I wonder if we aren't in store for some rain soon. It was sunny to begin with but according to my joints aching today I think we are going to see a change soon. I hope your day is going well. I am not doing any more then I absolutely have to. Feels like a lazy day to me. LOL Anyway, until next time you take care and thanks for visiting.
God bless,
Verna

It looks like a painting Verna - awesome scene for sure!
This is a beautiful sunset and a peaceful scene. It is a great masculine card. We've had rain for almost 24 hours and it's finally clearing out this morning but it has been windy and very cold and wet. I hate that dreary, rainy weather.
This is beautiful, Verna. You have certainly achieved the look you wanted. Your scene is gorgeous and serene. Well done, better than I could do!!!
You are getting to be a pro at sponging...this is fabulous...beautiful scene!
Oh, Verna, this is so beautiful! I'd love to visit a place like this, camp alongside the lake in our motorhome, watch the sun go down. Love how you showed the sun's reflection in the lake, and your sponging is top notch!
If you were going for the look of beautiful then you def got the look you were going for! Love it!
Gorgeous card Verna... You've done an amazing job on the water and the sky
