Clean and Simple Thank You Cards

I needed a few more cards to thank my kids for all the help they gave me for our party so today I made up a few CAS cards using all Gina K. Designs Products except for the first flower arrangement one which was colored in with Prismacolor pencils without the use of any Gamsol. The other two were two step designs which I am not very good at.

I wanted to see how things would look by starting out with colored card stock. I think my favorite one is the Prismacolor pencil design. It looks like a no line image. I stamped the design in with yellow ink and then colored it in with the pencils.

Well, tomorrow is back to taking care of garden produce. It will be time to freeze the second half of the beets. The first half of the crop was made into pickles earlier in the week. And I think the bean crop will be starting in again soon. We are enjoying fresh cabbage as well as fresh cucumbers and onions. And the potato crop is looking good too and they taste so yummy. Nice clear skin and I mostly bake them now. So we are being blessed. The only issue is trying to harvest everything when it is so muddy from all the rains we have been getting this summer. But at least we are not flooded out like some are.

Well, take care and I hope you have a good weekend. Time is flying by and it is feeling more like Fall already here,

God bless,
Verna

Striking CAS thank you cards Verna x.
The coloured card stock on the three cards are great backgrounds for the pretty images.
The prisma coloured card is so pretty and yes does look like no line colouring.
The yellow one is so artsy and beautiful.
The green one is contemporary in design and what is the step design stamps you used?
The family are going to love these thank you notes, which clearly are made with love x.
Sounds like a wonderful harvest this year....enjoy x

I do love those simple cards, the colored cardstock makes a huge difference. All three are very pretty, I wouldn’t choose a favorite.

All your fresh produce sounds wonderful! I’m sure it is the result of all your hard work.

These are so pretty, and each one has it's own look. Great coloring on those flowers and I'm sure your children will enjoy knowing you made these cards just for them:)

So nice that you to include your family in the kind things that you do with paper crafting, and these thank you cards will be so appreciated by them. This is the time of year that is busy for you as your crops are ready to harvest, but such joy in the fact that you can grow your own. I go to the farmers market.

The color card stock gives more depth to the cards. You do a great job with prismacolor pencils and the two steps look just fine. How wonderful to have all that fresh produce straight from the garden. Mine always comes from the grocery store unless there is a farmer's market. Sometimes we have them but not always. I love nectarines and plums but they are like solid rocks at the store. There is such a small window of time to actually get really good produce here.

Love these...they are beautiful! I am still trying to figure out vegetable gardening in the southwest...lol! Ours is done now... too hot...lol... but we had some tomatoes and a few peppers... we'll plant again in a couple months when it cools off a bit... so happy to hear about a thriving garden! Enjoy!
