This card is another I did with the digital pattern papers from the Artsy Stampers Digitals. This time I chose to use the green distressed design. I also had an already die cut lacy border from Crafter's Companion that I thought would work well with that paper. When it was added it reminded me of a table cloth we once had that was adorning our table for many Christmases.
I stamped a Merry Christmas from a set by Sparkle N Sprinkle (no longer in business) which I thought looked great with it. And, I added some gems along side of it. Also I used some green and red plaid ribbon to add to my design as I thought it dressed it up a lot and that way covered the seam between the pattern paper and the die cut design.
This will be my last entry into the Artsy Stampers Digital Challenge #2-Pattern Paper. I have made several cards this week with this digital set and although I am not really good at digitals I do find ways of making use of them by going to a Word doc. and then fussy cutting my designs. This pattern paper was so lovely I thought it was able to be used on it's own without adding another poinsettia.
Thanks for visiting and I hope your week is going well.
God bless,
Verna

Boy, you are getting very techy with your colored digital papers. This makes for a great Christmas card. Way to go. I just arrived in Florida and now that the house is back in order and cleaned up, it will be on to my craft room today. Yipee!
This is lovely Verna! It really does look like a tablecloth. Perfect with the addition of the plaid ribbon too.
This is a beautiful holiday card. I love the plaid ribbon. It reminds me of when everyone used that plaid to decorate with at Christmas. [Bunny]`

You couldn't ask for a prettier Christmas card, and so easy! I have to remember to do this with some of my papers. Love the red lacy border. You do just fine with digis, Verna, from what I've seen.
