Final Cards for Little Hearts

Well, even though I was having fun I had to finish off making my collection for the Cards for Little Hearts with these designs. I am quite pleased with these. And, these were made to be more for Christmas with the sentiment included with the stamp set. But for the most part cards made for the cause should be Happy Holiday or Season's Greetings for sentiments with only a few actually for Christmas. That way all the holidays of the season are covered.

This little penguin stamp was purchased quite some time ago and had never seen any ink so I thought he would be only too happy to be on some cards for the little hearts. He even has a heart balloon. And, I think with the changing of the sentiment he would be great for a Valentine, birthday card or any type of cheerful card. This stamp set is from Wild Rose Studio and is called Penguin With Heart.
I stamped him with Gina K. Design Obsidian black ink and then colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I then die cut him with a stitched rectangle die from Maker's Movement. The snowflake pattern paper is from Gina K. Designs.

Speaking of snow we might get some today later on. So far we are only getting rain here in the eastern part of South Dakota but out west and in the central part they are in a winter storm. I hope it misses us as I am not too eager to see actual snow. But on paper it is fine.

Well no matter the weather I hope you have an enjoyable day and perhaps maybe you can make a card or two for the Cards for Little Hearts drive. It gives you a fun experience and I am sure it will mean a lot to the child who gets it too. Still time as the dates are posted on the side bar image. Take care and thanks for the visits and comments.

God bless.
Verna
