I took a strip of Ivory card stock and with my blending brushes added color to it but going lighter in the sky with the color when I got to the center. Then with black ink I stamped the first pumpkin and then masked that off and added a pumpkin on each side to make it look like a trio of them. These pumpkins were colored in with Prismacolor Pencil and then blended with Gamsol. I then added the sentiment. I also flicked a bit of watered out black ink onto the scene to give some interest to it.
This panel was then placed on a black card base. Then inside I added a white piece of paper so that I can write a message later on.

So pretty, those juicy pumpkins! So glad you are enjoying those stories Darnell invents for my card - she is just hilarious!
Lovely making and coloring, Verna. I'm glad you were able to get this into the challenge, too. We've had the rainiest year. It's sunny in the mornings and then the rain pours in the afternoons. Take good care.
Love the pop of color strip against the black. You've colored these pumpkins beautifully! Gorgeous little card, Verna.
Nice fall card. I love making them and although I have all of my Christmas cards done, I have yet to make some fall ones. Thanks for the inspiration.
Such a pretty card, Verna. For last minute, you really nailed this challenge. Your pumpkins are colored perfectly and I love the design. Well done!!
Nice job masking and coloring your trio of pumpkins! They look great on your sponged background. Love how you kept it clean and simple with all that black behind your work; it really makes it stand out nicely.
Very pretty pumpkin spice card and I love the black, I would never thought of that....a great card!!
Wonderful pumpkins and I do so like the dark card base.
Those are darling pumpkins, Verna!
This is such a pretty card and you did a great job of masking those pumpkins!
Wow, your scene really pops on the black background! It looks great and I love it, Verna! I'm so into fall cards right now.
Great use of masking & your coloring is wonderful, Verna!
Looks great on the black paper
Beautifully colored! You are skilled with those prismacolors... I need to practice with them... I'm always reaching for my copics... I really should use my pencils.
