I did a very simple card which is mostly black and white with just a pop of turquoise color in it. I used the one of the stamp sets from the Gina K. Designs Fruit of the Season TV Kit.
I used Gina K. Designs Obsidian Amalgam black ink. I stamped a variety of snowflakes designs and then repeated the sentiment three times. I then added the turquoise rhinestones. I also carried the design over into the insides by adding a couple snowflakes with an inside sentiment.
I love this easy design and even though I originally had planned to use red rhinestones I found I did not have enough of them so I chose instead to use this color. I think it looks okay this way too.
It is sunny here but windy so it is still chilly out. And, of course, since the weather has turned colder our furnace ran out of fuel. So since they have to put a different regulator on the gas tank they said they could not come until Monday. So we had to start up the wood furnace for awhile to keep it warmer in the house. I am always so grateful we have the wood furnace option in emergency situations. I hope we don't need it often as most of the wood we cut outside is still soaked with moisture from all the rain we got this past summer.
Well I hope your Sunday is going well. Until next time, take care! Thanks for visiting.
God bless,
Verna

loving your card, Verna - the blue rhinestone certainly have the 'chilly' feel to them - perfect for snowflakes:)
Beautiful with the blue!
Wow! So beautiful... love just the pops of blue...
The little pops of blue look wonderful on this card, but I'm not quite ready for snow yet LOL
Love the shade of blue. Great design!
Goodness, this looks so pretty with the blue rhinestones! I'm thinking I might like it better than I would have the red. There was a time we wouldn't think of it for Christmas cards, but it's popular now and I love it!
I love black and white cards. The pop of turquoise makes it even better.
Great black and white card! You can really focus on those amazing snowflakes!! The pop of turquoise sparkle looks great, too!
Love the pop of blue!
Beautiful card Verna! Love the blue jewels. Thanks for playing along in the October MMC over at Gina K. Designs.
This is so pretty! Love the turquoise rhinestones.
