Prompted by two different challenges this is the card design that I came up with. It is a very CAS design but I still like it a lot. I used pattern paper and an Ultimate Crafts Stamp and Die set called Count Your Life.
To make the flower I took some squash seed and painted them with orange metallic water based paint and then glued them around a cluster of pearls. The die cut was done with white and that way I could easily stamp the sentiment with the orange ink.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Mod Squad Challenge-Back To Nature
Double D's Challenge-Orange and White
I thought I should get this posted before the internet shuts down again. Every time it rains we lose our internet. And rain is forecast into the night hours. I guess we live out in the boondocks too far for it to be a stable connection. But we get by as best we can with what we have. Anyway I hope all of you are having a great day. Take care! And thanks for stopping by.
God bless,
Verna

This is so pretty! What a great way to get some nature on the card. I’m still thinking about how to make my card!
What a beautiful flower you made! That is so clever. I love that oval die and that lovely sentiment.
You are so cool, Verna! What a brilliant idea to use the squash seeds - they look perfect here! Gorgeous CAS card and nice sentiment. Hope you get your internet sorted out; so frustrating. It reminds me of when Hurricane Dorian hit here last month, we had no phone or internet for 7 days. Even our cell phone wouldn't work for 3 days. We had no power for 4 days - it was brutal!
Awesome card Verna and you are so clever to use the seeds. Also, the only one that reads the challenge and what is required. (MSC)

OMG, this is so darn cute, Verna! Must be the polka dots, but I also love the orange and the simplicity. Awesome card for the Double D challenge!
Very striking & so clever to use the seeds that way!
I love that beautiful sentiment Verna and it looks gorgeous on the pretty frame. Such a nice flower too and the spotty background gives it a fun look.
Have a great weekend.
