I acquired some time ago a die in the shape of a cup from Picket Fence Studios and with that die I have made a Christmas card. I chose to use pattern papers from the Noel paper pad from American Crafts and along with some gems, glitter and glue I made my design. This is my 8th entry in the 2019 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
The big poinsettia on the cup was cut out from another piece of pattern paper as was the trim along the bottom. I thought the combination of traditional Christmas colors was a great choice. The glitter was added with the aid of Connect Glue from Gina K. Designs. The glitter is some from Sparkle N Sprinkle which is no longer in business. And the gems are unknown.
I hope many of you are having fun doing the hop. I know I hop and check out the cards others have done and then I take a break and work up a card design or check my email. Oh, and of course, I still have to cook and do laundry and other household chores. I am glad I no longer have a job in town though as then I know I would not be able to keep up. If you want to know more about the hop just click on the link where I have at the top of the post and it will take you to the site where you can add your entries or visit and see what others have done. And the cards are on an Anything Goes basis as long as it includes either coffee, tea or hot cocoa. Perhaps hot cider might work too.
Take care and have a great rest of the day! Thanks for visiting.
God bless,
Verna

This card made me smile, really big! I love the festive look to the mug and the warm feeling that it brings.
Yes, the dreaded chores, I know all about it! I've had a bout of insomnia for the last couple weeks so I've had extra time to make lots of cards but I'm sleep-deprived! I guess I need coffee to give me more energy, but then again, it would probably add to the insomnia! Love your gorgeous cup shaped card, Verna!
