Digital Layering Attempt

I love the traditional colors mostly for Christmas cards and so today I spent some time at the computer trying to figure out how to layer one digi stamp upon another and I think I made great progress. I used the colored images from the Artsystamper Digital Poinsettia stamp set and two freebies that were offered by Artstystamper called pine cone and pine needles if you were a member of the Facebook group. So those were the images I worked with besides a sentiment which I hand stamped from Impression Obsession.

I think I figured out quite a few things when it comes to layering digitally. At any rate, I am very happy with the design. My only glitch was that I wanted to make a copy of it also on the same page and for some reason I could not do that. But the little card stock that was left over was used mostly by me regardless. I combined this sentiment with some green mirror card stock from Crafter's Companion and then added a few red rhinestones. The sentiment was printed with Gina K. Designs Red Velvet ink.

I am entering this in the Double D Challenge.

Well, I have dishes to do now. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are having a wonderful day!

God bless,
Verna

Looks like you mastered layering digital images! Your pine sprigs and poinsettia images look great the way you arranged them. And you pulled the whole card together beautifully with your stamped greeting and bling. Great shine with the mirror card stock as well!

This is beautiful, Verna! I don't use digital images and would have no idea how to do what you just did. Great job figuring it all out. I love the shiny green border and your pretty poinsettia. The green really makes the card pop.

Oh sweet friend, you are doing a fabulous job of working with these digis! The poinsettia was perfect on the pine needle branch and pine cone (haven't grabbed my pine cone digi yet lol). Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘ Christmas Style’ challenge! And, thanks for supporting Bev at Artsystamper! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Wow, Verna, this looks amazing! You're getting very tricky with the digis. The more you do, the more comfortable you get and the more things you figure out. Just look how far you've come! This is beautiful and I'm happy to see it in our Double D challenge!

Gorgeous card Verna... I know in my Printmaster program I use for digital images that I have to make sure I highlight a larger area to include all digital layered images and then copy. If I don't go large enough around what I am coping it sometimes doesn't grab them all.
