What with the arthritis in my hands affecting me I still was able to create some cards using digital stamp sets. I figured I would be needing some thank you cards so I will show a couple I made today.
The first one is a Fall Note digital stamp set from Jan's Digital Stamps. It was such a pretty design and even though I still don't know how to digitally add the sentiment I still opted to do it with a fussy cut method and the use of a Word doc. I hope you like this design. The image was pre-colored but I did add some Wink of Stella to give it a bit of sparkle and I also distressed the edges of the scalloped die cut. And, that is an unknown scalloped die but it is one of my favorites. The last step was to add it to the light purple card base.

The next thank you card I made is with a Christmas theme. I mainly like to go with more traditional designs for Christmas and that was also what I used for this thank you card. I used the same digital sentiment from Jan's Digital Stamps but combined it with a poinsettia from Artsystampers Digitals.
I cut the poinsettia from some pattern paper I had printed out earlier in the season and added that below the big Thank You sentiment. I also die cut this panel with the scalloped unknown die too. After placing it on a red card base I then added some red and green rhinestone gems to finish the card.

Thanks for your wonderful comments. I guess since we are to have snow and rain mix that may be explaining why my hands and other joints hurt more today. Tis' the season for weather like that! I am still glad I can still be creative. And, I am pleased with my afternoon work too,
Take care and God bless,
Verna

Wonderful card Verna. i like your style and even with hurting joints you have still managed a lovely creation. My hands are bad these days for the same reason as yours are, so I can empathize with you easily.
Ack I spelled your name wrong *sigh*
I'm sorry the weather is really causing your pain to flare up. I wish I understood more about digital images. I had to get a Gemini Jr because the Big Shot was killing my wrists so much if I tried to use it. These are stunning! You are very talented, Verna, both with stamping and coloring as well as digital images!
Sorry to read about your arthritis pain, Verna, I hope it eases up. Both cards are gorgeous! I love that poinsettia and how you added the gems, so pretty!
Both are gorgeous cards Verna and I love the boldness of the red behind your Poinsettia card, it's gorgeous!! I have been suffering like you with this weather change but ours is the wetness and dampness, gets me every time! Thank you for joining our challenge at Double D!

These are so pretty! You did a great job with the digis. Hope the weather improves for Thanksgiving. Take care.
Both of your cards are so pretty! I often forget to use my digital stamps, so I should find a way to bring them to my attention more often.
Sigh... How lovely these cards are, Verna! Like you, I often can not hold my beloved pencils or markers, and it is then that I'm grateful for the precolored images. This one is gorgeous with the golden inky hues, and the bright purple background. Your Christmas card is so pretty, too! It's nice to have the seasonal thank you's made in advance, isn't it? and now for my other hat: So happy I got to see your creation at Jan’s Digi Stamp Challenges . Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope to see more of your designs soon.
Smiles,

Beautiful cards. You have rocked the digi thing. I haven't had much luck with it, but my printer isn't that great. Love these, happy Thanksgiving!!!
Dear dear Verna,
My hands cramp up at times, which is why digital is so wonderful. By the way, you can just add your sentiment wherever you want with your image by layering it over the design, since it's a png image it will have no background. I have a video on my Artsystamper channel on YouTube showing how to use the digitals to make cards. Actually there are several digital stamping videos there. I hope they help. Great to see your beautiful creations on your Artsystamper Challenge Blog...good luck in the draw!
Hugs,
Bev aka Artsystamper
You created beautiful cards with these digital images! And you did a great job cutting these out with sore hands. Hope you feel better.
I have never tried a digi image so you are way ahead of me. Nice that you can get them precolored and just use design skills. Gorgeous cards.
You did some beautiful work with these digis, Verna! I would think the cutting would be especially hard when your hands are hurting. I can only color a little bit at a time with my golfer's elbow giving me trouble. We get it done, though! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy some crafty time and share with us at Double D!
The first image is so beautiful & great idea to fussy cut the poinsettias from printed paper!
Verna, I hate to hear your hands are bothering you so with the holidays upon us and so much to do. I pray you will get some relief so that you can enjoy them. Your cards are beautiful! I LOVE seeing how you used my images in card one. I thank you for featuring it! The poinsettias are lovely! Personally I like fussy cutting! Thank you for sharing your luscious cards with us her at Jan's Digi Blog Challenge! Good Luck in the drawing! Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs,
Jan

Both beautiful Verna.
