Twofer Challenge #22-With a Twist

Before I start a week of baking for a church fund raiser I decided to make my Twofers for Darnell's Twofer Challenge. This time there is a twist as we can make two cards for the same occasion if we so desire and since I am working mainly on Christmas designs I went that route. So here is my November Twofers. We still have to use the same die, stencil or stamp though with the holiday greenery theme.

The red and white design uses all products from Heartfelt Creations. The dies used are Holly Berry and Sun Kissed Fleur Dies. The sentiment is from the Holly Berry Stamp set.  And the die to frame the sentiment is an unbranded one. I used a punch to make the berries for the holly branches. And the red glitter paper is from Stampin' Up! All other card stock and inks are from Gina K. Designs.

This red and white card I am also entering into the Mod Squad Challenge which calls for red and white only.

Again I used the Holly Berry die from Heartfelt Creations but this time the pattern paper, sentiment and card stock were all from Gina K. Designs.  And again I punched out some berries with the glitter paper.

Well, we  have had a snowy afternoon with a few flakes falling as well as the temperatures falling. Ahhh! Tis' the season I guess.

Well, thanks for visiting and for your comments. Until next time have a great life!

God bless,
Verna

You got right on it, Verna, and I'm so glad you did! These are great inspirational cards for TCC! I love your red and white design, which seems to be on trend this year! The scallop edge of your pretty sediment and inner panel is perfect with the edges of the holly leaves and the schparkle is amazing! Your second card in classic Christmas colors is a wonderful flowing design and I love the gingham edging of your sediment panel! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #22!

Enjoy the pretty sight of the first Christmas snow and good luck with all the baking! Wish I could be there to help! Hugs, Darnell

These turned out beautiful!! I just love the glittered poinsettia with the greens, and those greens look wonderful in white on the 2nd card with the tiny pops of red glitter! Great twofer - I hope I can make time to play along this month! Happy baking!

What a splendid twofer, Verna! The crisp white holly with the warm red is just yummy ... and the shimmery, shiny poinsettia has such wonderful impact! The gingham on your second card adds a delicious warmth to the festive sprigs ... which are perfectly blinged with those sparkly berries! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer ... and good luck with the fund raiser! Hugs, Anita :)

The reds on your first card are positively delightful!! LOVE that poinsettia, and the holly branch behind it. Such a gorgeous Christmas card! And your second card is sweet and has a warm, homespun design. What a great font on that sentiment, and I love the sparkle of those holly berries, too. Two fabulous cards, Verna. So happy you joined us at The Twofer Challenge. Sending hugs. Bev

Oh, my gosh, these are both so pretty, Verna! I was first attracted to the horizontal card with the red and green, but then I got a better look at the red and how you arranged the three holly sprigs with the sparkly poinsettia... love that! I'm glad the Twofer challenge could help you get your Christmas cards done. Thanks for joining us!
