I love this stamp of that cute penguin and all those floating hearts. I got him at Jan's Digi Stamps. The set he comes with is 3225J Puttin' On The Ritz. I know he will make cute Valentines but I was hoping I could use this set also for the Cards for Little Hearts Drive which is in January. For this particular card I once again went with the pre-colored version but I can see me coloring with my markers the line versions for the kids too. I would go with different colors of hearts for sure. Try to get away from the Valentine look. What do you think? Would it work for the kids?
I die cut the panels out with Memory Box Cross Stitched Border Dies and added some washi tape from Stampin' Up! Then I mounted all of these layers onto a pink card base.
I am entering this in the following challenge:
Challenge #4-Anything Goes Jan's Digi Stamps
No bread baking today. My arm was sore and I did not think I would care to make it worse by kneading bread. Maybe tomorrow. I am sure it will soon be better. The gal who gave the shot told me to wiggle my fingers while she gave it to me. That way my muscles would not get sore. Well I must not have wiggled the right way. LOL That was the first time anyone had told me to wiggle my fingers.
Nice and sunny here and we love it. Warming up too. So that makes us happy! I hope wherever you are that you are having a wonderful day too. Thanks for stopping by.
God bless,
Verna

Simply gorgeous Verna. Love what you have done with this cute image.
Fun and pretty, Verna, and I believe these would make wonderful cards for kids -- he's just so cute!
This little guy is so cute that he will make a great card for kids. You are right and he can be changed up for different looks.
I think this card is adorable, and I think the kids would enjoy it as well!
The penguin is darling, and would be fun to color. He would be perfect for the kids.
so sweeeeet! I love the horizontal lines on this card, and the darling walk of the pengie. You're so right that this little guy would be perfect if done in other colors. Hey! How about the St Patrick's Day pengie, or the Easter Pengie? LOL Wonderful card, Verna. And now for my other hat: So happy I got to see your creation at Jan’s Digi Stamp Challenges . Thanks for the inspiration, and I hope to see more of your designs soon.
Merry Christmas, Verna,

Oh my gosh, that little penguin is so stinkin' CUTE!!! I love everything about this card, your design is perfect. And yes, he could be used for any number of occasions. I am smiling just looking at him.
Oh, my gosh, adorable and perfect! I hope your arm feels better. Sometimes the meds in a shot will make your arm sore, I know. Never heard of wiggling the fingers, either.
Gorgeous card and image-love the pink and black colour combination.Thank you for joining us at Jan's Digi Stamps
