Banners Background

Well, it has begun. The first graduation announcement arrived  yesterday so I decided to get started on making a graduation card. I wanted to join in the Double D Challenge-Banners so I hope this style of banner will be okay for that. Even so this card will be used for a girl graduate whose invite we got.

Maroon and gold are the school colors so I incorporated them in with the sentiment banners from Impression Obsession. The sentiment is also from Impression Obsession as is the jumping girl graduate die. The outer frame using the crazy running stitch rectangle die is from Cutplorations.
All were layered together to a base card of light yellow. The graduate was die cut from gold mirror card stock.

Well, if those are not the right kind of banners then they will have to take it out of the challenge. It was the only banners I could find in my stash. I do like the pinked stitching on them.

Well, time to call it a day. Take care everyone.

God bless,
Verna

Good idea to get started on those graduation cards.df With so many graduations being canceled this year, the card will be so very important. I need to make one for my granddaughter and grandson. Thanks for joining in the fun at Double D Challenge "banners". Stay safe!

Lovely graduation card. I really like the banner die - it makes a great background in the school colors and the golden grad jumping for joy.

Lovely graduation card. Oh my, the seniors this year that I've talked to are disappointed about the end of their seniot year. I told this this too shall pass. There's no reason that graduation can't be held in a few months.

You did it! I know the team at Double D are simply happy you played along. I like your banner background! You always make such cute grad cards. I hope the grads all across the country will be able to have some kind of ceremony this year, even if it's later in the summer. We must make safety our #1 priority.
