June Rudolph Days Challenge

It was a good thing I had my card already made for the June Rudolph Days Challenge as this past week I have not been in much of a creative mood. But none the less here is my creation and it is made with a Stamplorations stamp set called Layered Lights and some Altenew Washi tape and a Spellbinder die at each end of the design which was a gift so I have no clue as to which set it came from. But I like it a lot.

I made a slimline design with these pretty images and wonderful sentiments from the set. And I used already made card fronts and bases from Paper Cuts which sure are handy as I don't have to measure and cut them myself.  I used stamp pads from Rubbernecker to stamp the baubles and Gina K. Designs black ink for the sentiment.

I spent my week in mourning of my sister and notifying relatives. Then yesterday we attended the visitation and today was her funeral. We opted to attend only the visitation due to my health but we did live stream her service this morning so that was nice we had that option. She will be so missed but I know she is in the best hands ever now with our Lord Jesus so that is a comfort. I know she would want all of her family to go on with life as usual and just be happy she is no longer in pain. She had celebrated her 90th birthday in February so she had a long life.

I hope all of you are doing okay. Thanks for visiting.

Take care and God bless,  Verna

So sorry for the loss of your sister. You have done well to get a card made at this busy time.
Your card is so sweet. The lights are lovely but I especially love the Spellbinders fancy edge pieces too!

Thanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.

I am very late commenting this month, but this is the second card I have seen today using Altenew washi tape. I didn't even know they made it. Lovely card too.
I am sorry for the loss of your sister. I also lost my sister in her nineties during lockdown, so I couldn't have attended her funeral even if I had been in UK, but I too was able to watch a live link which was a great belssing. Thinking of you and your family at this sad time. Kate s

So sorry to hear about your sister. We added my brother's sign to our Remembrance Flower Garden at church and I created a cenotaph memorial for him on Findagrave. Have you checked the Findagrave website to see if someone created a memorial for her there?
