Well it is summer and now there is lots going on here. Not only have I had company but now the garden is starting to produce. I am so thankful for a great hubby who is helping me with the taking care of the vegetables. It seems the chemo pills I am taking are really affecting my joints and muscles and I seem weak in a lot of ways now and always tired. Also my fingers no longer have the right feeling at the tips of them and so it is harder for me to pick up things or use them. I have a dickens of a time putting my earrings in now. LOL But I did manage to get a few Christmas cards completed using the Stamplorations Quick Card Fronts. I will share them with you today. I still have more of the designs to work with and I bought five packets and they have six card fronts in each packet so it amounts to quite a few. Here is the first one.
For the card above I used a light gray card stock base to layer the front on and used some red ink from The Rubbernecker for the sentiment which is from Penny Black. I love the look of it.
And below is the next card I made using some Sandy Beach card stock for the base. And the sentiment used on that is a die from Lil' Inker Designs. I love how that looks too with the beige and brown tones on it.
I love poinsettias in any color and these really looked amazing to me. I thought using red for the sentiment was a perfect fit.
Well since hubby is fishing today I think I will work on more of the card front Christmas cards. But this will add ten to my stash. I still need a lot more though so it sure is handy to have some easy and beautiful ways of making them now that my fingers don't want to work right. Hard for me to color too which really bums me out but such is life. We have to adapt I guess!
Thanks for the visit and I am loving all the comments you leave me. Please forgive me for not responding but since I no longer get email notification it is hard to keep up. I hope your week is going well. So until next time take care.
God bless, Verna

Those card fronts make gorgeous Christmas cards, and I'm glad you're able to work with them since you're having difficulty with your hands. Sending healing prayers your way - you're amazing the way you always push forward in spite of obstacles! Hugs!

Your cards are very beautiful!! Lovely card fronts for your Christmas cards!! You’re truly an inspiration with making wonderful creations while experiencing difficulty with your hands! I will keep you in my prayers, hugs!!
These are both beautiful, and the die cut and stamped greetings you added coordinate perfectly!
Wow, these are lovely and how wonderful there is a quick and easy way to do the cards. I love the beige and blue colors. I hate that the medicine to help is causing so much distress for you. Is this just a trial run to see if it works? Maybe they can change it if it doesn't work.
Beautiful cards, I love the colors. Must be so frustrating that you can't do the things you are used to doing. Good for you for keeping on keeping on.....I so admire your tenacity. Hang in there, my friend, this too shall pass. Hugs~
These are simply gorgeous, Verna! These panels are wonderful! Thanks for sharing!
