CAS Winter Scene

 *Altenew

Using some Altenew mini stamp sets I created this CAS scene inside a circle made with a round stencil. The inks were varied shades of gray from Rubbernecker.  Stamp sets used were Winter Cottage, Snowing and Pine Tree.  And of course the Misti was employed again.

At first I wasn’t too happy with it as I thought it too plain but it has grown on me and now I like it. And I love that I can do simple cards with those mini sets.

Thanks for the visit and God bless, Verna

CAS cards like this are extremely difficult for me to make, so I'm loving the simplicity of it! I'm one of those layer-it-up stampers, so this is a special treat for my eyes! Great work Verna, and I hope God continues to bless you in every possible way!

I love this cozy cabin in the snow. I think this kind of card really draws the eye to the focal point and it's not busy.

It's funny how we can like (or not like) certain creations made by our own hands, and yet, to other people, the cards are beautiful! I love the gentleness of this masterpiece, Verna. I can "feel" the silently falling snow, and the crisp feel of the air - how smart to showcase the "feelings" rather than trying to make more of the surrounding area! Big hugs, de
